AMD launches the RX 7700 with 16 GB of memory

AMD is set to complete the RDNA3 range with a new graphics card: a non-XT RX 7700. Positioned between the 7700 XT and the 7800 XT, it includes some of their features.

The card features 40 RDNA3 compute units, or 2,560 stream processors and 80 AI accelerators. In terms of memory, AMD has adopted the same configuration as the 7800 XT, with 16 GB of GDDR6 on a 256-bit bus, offering a bandwidth of 624 GB/s.

The manufacturer has not announced pricing or availability, and the launch was low-key, suggesting that the model is primarily intended for OEMs and integrators. AMD recommends a 700W power supply with two 8-pin connectors.

In terms of performance, the RX 7700 is about 16 to 19% below the 7700 XT, according to figures provided by AMD.
