Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds gets some great marks

The launch of Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is not that far off, being scheduled for September 25, 2025 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Switch and PC. The press has given its veredict, and the initila feedback is really positive.

On Metacritic, the game has an average score of 82% on PS5 (44 reviews). On OpenCritic, it currently stands at 84% with 28 reviews. These scores could of course change in the coming hours.

Those who've tried the game praise its impressive visuals, as well as its fast-paced gameplay, solid content, and enjoyable time trial mode. On the downside, the controls leave something to be desired, there are sometimes too many special effects on screen, and the roster is slightly limited.
