Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 gets a long presentation video

The Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 collection will be released on Switch on October 2, 2025. And since this date is fast approaching, Nintendo has taken the time to detail the contents of this title.

As its name suggests, the collection will include both installments of the Super Mario Galaxy franchise. There's an assist mode included to make the experience more accessible for less experienced players, as well as a two-player co-op mode. One player will control Mario, while the other will be responsible for collecting stars using their Joy-Con. In addition, all 154 songs from both games will be available to listen to at any time.

Finally, a free update will allow Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 to run in 4K and use mouse mode for the second player in co-op on Switch 2. The frame rate will be locked at 60 frames per second.
