AMD presents the Ryzen PRO 9000

Alongside the launch of the Ryzen 9000F and the new Ryzen 5 5600F on AM4, AMD has quietly updated its Ryzen PRO range, aimed at workstations and business PCs. Three models are now listed on the official website.

The Ryzen 9 PRO 9945 is the flagship of this series with 12 cores/24 threads, clocked at up to 5.4 GHz for a TDP of 65 W. The two following models complete the range:

  • Ryzen 7 PRO 9745: 8 cores/16 threads, 3.8–5.4 GHz
  • Ryzen 5 PRO 9645: 6 cores/12 threads, 3.9–5.4 GHz

All are based on the Zen 5 architecture and incorporate features specific to the PRO range. As is often the case, these processors are expected to appear primarily in OEM machines before becoming available to retail customers.
