Hades 2 physical Switch edition will be released on November 20 and will not be a game card key

Available for pre-order via the eShop for €29.99 on Switch and Switch 2 before its release on September 25, 2025, Hades 2 will also be available in a physical edition for Nintendo consoles.

Supergiant Games has confirmed that this physical edition will be released on November 20, 2025, priced at €49.99. It will contain a traditional game card and not a game key card. This is a logical choice, as it should be a Switch cartridge that will work on both consoles. The Switch 2 upgrade will be free. It should be noted that this edition also includes a character guidebook and a download code for the soundtrack.

On Switch 2, Hades 2 will run at 1080p at 120 FPS in TV mode and 1080p at 60 FPS in handheld mode. Switch players will have to make do with 720p at 60 FPS in both modes. Finally, it will be possible to transfer a Steam or Epic Games save file thanks to cross-save
