No DLC is currently planned for Final Fantasy XVI

At the moment, the development team has no plans for DLC for Final Fantasy XVI. The Japanese publisher wants to provide a complete experience that justifies the price of a new game.

"We ask players to pay the full price for this experience, and therefore, we want the experience to live up to the money players will spend and for them to be satisfied with what they have paid for, or even more."

However, Yoshida clarifies that this stance is not definitive and that the creation of DLC could be considered if the community demands it.
