Sloclap has delayed the patch with cross-play for Rematch
, by Thibaut
Patch 3 was scheduled for release on September 4 and supposed to bring cross-play to Rematch. Unfortunately, Sloclap has decided to delay the update due to important technical issues.
The French studio explained in a statement that many testers found themselves completely stuck in matchmaking, unable to restart or cancel it. Thus, the devs have decided to delay the patch. No new date has been given.
"We know this news is very disappointing, and we share your frustration. Our recent results in terms of patch stability have not been up to par, and we do not want to release a patch that would introduce new issues.
For now, we are working hard to resolve this matchmaking issue as quickly as possible. At the same time, we are actively working to improve our production pipeline so that future updates are delivered with the quality and reliability you deserve. Most importantly, we will refrain from announcing release dates until we are absolutely certain we can deliver the updates on time."
