NVIDIA grows, AMD loses terrain and Intel remains marginal in the GPU market
, by Quentin
According to Jon Peddie Research, NVIDIA now holds 94% of the GPU market in the second quarter of 2025, up 2.1 points from the previous quarter.
This growth has come at the expense of AMD, which has fallen to 6%, while Intel remains below 1%.
The arrival of Blackwell GPUs has strengthened NVIDIA's presence, now covering all price ranges, while AMD is limited to the RDNA 4 offering in this segment.
In total, the AIB card market reached 11.6 million units in the second quarter, well above the seasonal average. Prices fell in the entry-level and mid-range segments, but rose in the high-end segment, with stocks under severe pressure.
