Things are happening at Ubisoft! The French company is working on numerous projects that will be released in the coming months and years. The Insider Gaming website has revealed the various titles that are expected in 2026 and 2027.
Among these games is “Project Steambot,” which is actually a remake of Rayman. Ubisoft is aiming for a late 2026 release, as development is progressing at a very satisfactory pace. A true Rayman 4 is also in the works, but its release will depend on the commercial success of the remake.
Insider Gaming then shared a list of nine games that will be released over the next two years. The remake of Assassin's Creed IV (Project Obsidian) and the multiplayer Assassin's Creed game (Project Invictus) are not included in this list. Until now, both games were scheduled for release before the end of 2025.
- Project Ovr: the next Ghost Recon game
- Project Hexe: the next Assassin's Creed game in the main series
- Project North: the remake of Splinter Cell
- Project Blackbird: the next Far Cry game in the main series
- Project Maverick: a multiplayer extraction Far Cry game (which could be canceled according to Insider Gaming)
- Project Rewind: the Prince of Persia remake
- Project Alterra: a game a la Animal Crossing
- Project Crest: a shooter game set during World War II
- Project BG&E2 : yes, you've read that right! Beyond Good and Evil 2.
Beyond 2027, Ubisoft is reportedly working on The Division 3, as well as the next The Crew and several Assassin's Creed projects.
