Housemarque (Returnal, Saros) gives a tour of its stunning new premises

Founded in 1995 in Helsinki, Finland, Housemarque is a highly respected studio in the gaming industry. Acquired by Sony in June 2021, the company, which has around 121 employees, is responsible for Super Stardust, Dead Nation, Resogun, and of course Returnal.
To mark its 30th anniversary, Housemarque has treated itself to new premises, still based in Helsinki. Mikael Haveri, the studio's brand director, gave us a guided tour of these brand-new offices, which includes facilities such as a gym, sauna, cinema, and ultra-modern canteen.
Housemarque is currently working on Saros, which will be released on PS5 in 2026.
