The Japanese indie game The Exit 8 has sold 2 million copies so far

Released in November 2023 on all platforms and now available on Switch 2, The Exit 8 is a game in which the player finds themselves trapped in an endless underground maze, where they must observe their surroundings to find exit 8.

The game from KOTAKE CREATE has now sold over 2 million copies worldwide. It's also worth noting that a film adaptation will be debut in Japanese cinemas on August 29.
