Nintendo renames its subsidiary Warpstar Inc. to Nintendo Stars Inc.

WARPSTAR, Inc. is a subsidiary of Nintendo founded in 2000 that oversees the rights to the Kirby franchise. It has produced the cartoon series and merchandise based on the saga.
In a press release, the Japanese company announced that WARPSTAR, Inc. is becoming Nintendo Stars Inc. The company has also been restructured to manage activities related to films based on Nintendo licenses.
Nintendo Stars Inc. will work on the upcoming Super Mario Bros. movie, which will be released in April 2026, and the adaptation of The Legend of Zelda, scheduled for May 2027.
