Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 will have a sequel

No, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 was not a one-off. The license will not disappear with just this single video game that has left its mark on millions of players around the world.

During an interview with MrMattyPlays on YouTube, Guillaume Broche, CEO and creative director at Sandfall Interactive, gave some hints on the future of the IP.

"Clair Obscur is the franchise name. Expedition 33 is one of the stories that we want to tell in this franchise. Exactly what it will look like and what the concept will be is still too soon to announce, but what is sure is that this is not the end of the Clair Obscur franchise."

Later in the interview, Broche stated that he prefers to forget his previous works when doing sequels.
