LEGO Batman Legacy of the Dark Knight gets new info

One of the big announcements at Gamescom 2025's Opening Night Live was undoubtedly LEGO Batman Legacy of the Dark Knight. This epic adventure will be released in 2026 on PS5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, and PC.

Players will be able to relive the legendary story of the Dark Knight through an open-world action-adventure game. We will be able to freely explore Gotham City alone or with a friend in local co-op. The combat system will be similar to Batman Arkham, with the ability to perform combos and use stealth techniques.

Two difficulty modes will be available, as well as the ability to customize the Batcave and Batmobile. Scenes from the movies will even be included. Finally, several iconic characters will be playable, such as Bruce Wayne, Jim Gordon, Batgirl, Catwoman, Nightwing, and many others. Villains like the Joker, the Penguin, Mr. Freeze, Poison Ivy, and Bane will try to stand in our way.
