Alan Wake 2 could be released next October

Announced at the Game Awards in December 2021, the sequel to the excellent Alan Wake is still slated for release this year. With this second installment, Remedy intends to offer a true survival horror experience rather than a third-person action game like the first episode.

However, apart from the teaser revealed a year and a half ago, we haven't seen anything of Alan Wake lI at this time. Nevertheless, actor Matthew Porretta, who portrays the writer in the game, recently stated that the launch is scheduled for October.

It's hard to say if the main actor made a slip-up by revealing this information or if it's just a simple mistake. We may learn more this week during the PlayStation Showcase or next month.
