A little under five years after its release in November 2020, over 80 million PS5 have been sold worldwide.
Sony revealed this week that its console has reached exactly 80.3 million units sold. The PS5 already ranks eleventh among the best-selling consoles of all time, tied with the PSP.
During the last quarter, 2.5 million PlayStation 5s were sold. During this same period, 65.9 million PS5/PS4 games were sold. The ratio is 83% digital games to just 17% physical games. The PSN had 123 million monthly active users, down one million from the previous quarter.
