According to leaker chi11eddog, AMD is reportedly developing a Ryzen 9000 processor based on the Zen 5 architecture with 192 MB of L3 cache and a TDP of 200W, well above current models.
This 16-core chip would use two CCDs, each with both standard cache and 3D V-Cache. There's also a second model with 8 cores, 96 MB of cache, and 120W TDP reportedly coming. This could be a future Ryzen 7 9700X3D, following in the footsteps of the 9800X3D.
AMD has never released a CPU with dual 3D V-Cache, citing excessive production costs until now.
