EA believes Battlefield 6 and Call of Duty can coexist

Electronic Arts has big ambitions for Battlefield 6. This new installment is scheduled for release on October 10 and will inevitably compete with Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, which will be released just a little later.
However, the American publisher does not seem to see this as a problem. During an interview with Gaming World Media, Vince Zampella, vice president of EA Studios, said that the two franchises can coexist.
"They've coexisted for so long that I think they complement each other in different ways. We have things they don't have. Battlefield, destruction, class systems, that kind of thing. It's such an incredible experience, it's different... Is it a competitor? In a way, like all other games, it's a competitor. But Battlefield is unique and offers things that no one else can really offer."
