Eidos Montreal supported Obsidian with development of Grounded 2

Obsidian may very well have been the most prolific studio in the entire industry this 2025. After Avowed in February, the American studio will release Grounded 2 on July 29, and then it will be the turn of The Outer World 2 on October 29.

As for Grounded 2, the new trailer released this week revealed that the title is being co-developed by Eidos Montreal. In the past, the Canadian company produced well-known games such as Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, and Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy.

Eidos Montréal is also working with Playground Games on Fable. Last March, the studio laid off 75 employees.
