The Public Investment Fund (PIF) of Saudi Arabia increases its stake on the side of Electronic Arts

Saudi Arabia aims to establish a lasting presence in the gaming industry. The controversial PIF of the country already holds shares in several major companies, including Capcom, Nintendo, Take-Two Interactive, and Activision Blizzard. However, today we focus on Electronic Arts.

According to a recent report mentioned by Seeking Alpha, the PIF now holds $24.81 million worth of shares, compared to $16.01 million previously. This 55% increase in ownership does not seem to have major repercussions for the publisher at the moment.
