While it was supposed to be released on mobile devices on January 2024, Plants vs. Zombies 3 may never see the light of day.
Indeed, a 3D artist who worked on textures and other elements for the game's characters has stated that the game has been cancelled by Electronic Arts. Another person, who claims to have followed the development of Plants vs. Zombies 3 closely, says he was surprised to see the title cancelled during such a late development phase.
During its production, the game is said to have undergone three reboots.
