This Thursday, Sony released a State of Play entirely focused on Ghost of Yōtei. Sucker Punch treated us to a good 20 minutes of gameplay captured onthe base PS5.
The presentation focused on exploration, combat and customization. Indeed, we'll get to edit Atsu's appearance with more or less stylized outfits. Our heroine can also cook and play music.
There's also a photo mode, in addition to the Kurosawa mode, which takes its cue from the director's films with a black-and-white filter. The Miike mode will add more blood, mud and a camera closer to the character. In addition, the Watanabe mode will apply Lo-Fi music during exploration and combat.
All in all, the sequel follows in the footsteps of Ghost of Tsushima, be it in its style, graphics or even combat. Finally, Sony revealed two controllers based on Ghost of Yōtei and faceplates for the PS5 and PS5 Pro. These accessories will be sold as a bundle (console + controller + game via a code) and separately.
