GTA V is coming back to Saudi Arabia after being gone for 7 years

Back in 2018, Grand Theft Auto V ended up on a list of 47 games banned in Saudi Arabia. It included other big names such as The Witcher and Assassin's Creed 2. These titles were judged to be too violent, with some featuring drug use and explicit sexual content.

So, seven years later, GTA V has finally left this notorious list and is set for release in Saudi Arabia in July 2025. Rockstar Games' game will still be banned for children under 21.

This decision could also allow GTA VI to be released in the country as early as May 26, 2026.
