High Moon Studios (Call of Duty) has suffered redundancies

Unfortunately, we're still focused on the heavy layoffs that have hit Microsoft in recent hours. The company will be shedding around 9,000 people.
When it comes to the gaming division, projects such as Everwild, an MMO from ZeniMax Online, and Perfect Dark have been cancelled. The Initiative studio has also been closed. The American studio's objective is to give priority to the most lucrative licenses... But that doesn't mean these projects are totally safe.
High Moon Studios, which has been involved in the development of almost all recent Call of Duty titles, has been hit by redundancies. The studio was founded in 2001 before being acquired by Activision in 2008.
