NVIDIA pulls the plug on the GTX 700, GTX 900, GTX 19 and Titan V support

NVIDIA has announced the end of support for three GPU architectures following the roll-out of driver update 580.

Maxwell, Pascal and Volta architectures will no longer be supported after the launch of this major update. This means that GTX 700 (Maxwell), GTX 900 (Maxwell), GTX 10 (Pascal) and Titan V (Volta) graphics cards won't get any more updates with fixes or performance improvements.

NVIDIA has stated that it has taken this decision to allow its engineering teams to focus on newer platforms. Already installed drivers will of course remain functional, but the manufacturer recommends that users plan to upgrade their hardware.
