, by Thibaut
Several games from the Switch 1 catalog have got free upgrades on Switch 2, including The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening and The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom.
The Digital Foundry YouTube channel has thoroughly examined these two titles on Nintendo's latest console. According to this analysis, the games are nothing short of "free remasters", so notable are the improvements.
Definition in portable mode increases to 1080p (instead of 570p) and in docked mode to 1620p (instead of 720p on Switch). Framerate is locked at 60 FPS. This upgrade is among the best there are on Switch 2.
