A new free update for Monster Hunter Wilds will be available on June 30

Capcom has announced the second free update for Monster Hunter Wilds at the company's Spotlight 2025. It's coming out on June 30.

Two new monsters will make their appearance: Lagiacrus, capable of dragging players underwater for a specific combat phase, and Seregios, a flying wyvern causing hemorrhaging.

The update also introduces stacked weapons, enabling the appearance of weapons to be modified without altering their stats. This feature requires you to have crafted the final weapon in an upgrade tree. It will also be possible to create stacked weapons for the Palico.

The seasonal event Festival of Accord: Blossomdance will run from July 23 to August 6, with new equipment, decorations and special dishes.

A new monster, the Tempered Uth Duna, will also be available as an event quest and challenge from July 30 to August 20.

A collaboration with the Fender brand begins on August 27. It will offer an event quest until September 24, with an exclusive gesture as a reward.

Finally, the update adds an improved photo mode, free gestures and paid cosmetic DLC (gestures, stickers, pendants, etc.). A third free update is scheduled for the end of September, with a new monster and another Festival of Accord.
