Nintendo Pictures worked on Death Stranding 2

Nintendo has subsidiaries that can help various studios with their projects. As it happens, the Japanese company has helped out on a highly-anticipated game.

The end credits of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach reveal that Nintendo Pictures worked on the game. This division specializes in the creation of visual content. The company was previously known as Dynamo Pictures before being acquired by Nintendo in 2022.

In the past, Dynamo Pictures had worked on films and series. The company has also produced graphics for games such as Monster Hunter World, Persona 5 and Final Fantasy XIII-2. Since its takeover in 2022, the subsidiary had only worked on Nintendo games such as Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Pikmin 4 and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Death Stranding 2 is the first externally developed project that Nintendo Pictures has worked on in the last three years.
