The Blood of Dawnwalker gets 21 minutes of gameplay
, by Thibaut
As promised, Rebel Wolves gave us a long presentation of The Blood of Dawnwalker this weekend. The action-RPG by the director of The Witcher 3 was shown through 21 minutes of gameplay.
In this title, players embody a human character by day and a vampire by night. As you can guess, gameplay differs according to the time of day. We'll have exactly 30 days and 30 nights to complete the main story. The developers state that there will be no difference between the main and secondary quests. Each mission will be linked to the others.
As for combat, it will be similar to that of For Honor, as we will be able to opt for four different angles of attack with our sword. Various techniques (such as throwing dust in enemies' eyes to blind them) will be available. Particular emphasis will also be placed on stealth and equipment customization. As a vampire, we can use stealth or attack head-on. Decapitations are also on the menu.
The game will feature an open-world structure, with several cities and locations to explore. Quests can be completed in any order. As a vampire, you'll be able to climb walls and move from rooftop to rooftop.
The Blood of Dawnwalker will be released in 2026 on PS5, Xbox Series and PC.
