As expected, MindsEye gets terrible marks from the press and gamers alike

Given the current state of the game, we're not surprised to find that MindsEye is almost unanimously hated. Build A Rocket Boy's first title is nothing short of a total critical failure!

On Metacritic, MindsEye is currently the lowest-rated game of 2025, with an average score of 37% (8 reviews). Users have awarded the game a total of 2.5/10, with 310 reviews.

It's even worse on OpenCritic, with a score of just 34% for 14 reviews. Some of the world's most visited gaming sites were clearly not kind to the game.
