We still don't know much about the 2023 installment of Call of Duty. In recent weeks, journalist Jason Schreier has indicated that this episode will be a continuation of Modern Warfare II. Developed by Sledgehammer Games, the title was even considered as some sort of expansion. Nevertheless, it will be sold separately, as a standalone game.
Today, the site Insider Gaming informs us that Call of Duty 2023 will be presented in August. The date of Tuesday, August 1st, would currently be favored by the marketing team. Moreover, it is unlikely that the game will be seen during the upcoming PlayStation Showcase, which could be broadcasted this month.
Furthermore, a beta is quite logically planned. PlayStation players (PS5, PS4) will be able to test the multiplayer from October 6th to 10th. A second session, available on all platforms, will be held from October 12th to 16th. Early access to the campaign is scheduled for November 2nd. Finally, the release date is set for November 10th, 2023. The Zombies mode will be available at launch.
