Hollow Knight: Silksong will not be released in the first half of 2023
, by Thibaut
Since its initial announcement in February 2019, Hollow Knight: Silksong has only been shown on very rare occasions. The last presentation took place almost a year ago, during the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase in June 2022. However, the game from Team Cherry was originally supposed to launch on consoles and PC during the first half of 2023.
Unfortunately, that won't be the case. In a tweet, Matthew Griffin (responsible for marketing and publishing on the game) stated that "development is ongoing" and that Silksong will not be able to release during the previously announced timeframe. We will have more details as the launch approaches. This new Hollow Knight may be showcased during the upcoming Xbox Games Showcase, which will take place on June 11, 2023.
Remember that the game will be directly included in the Game Pass.
