Fallout Shelter celebrates 10 years with over 230 million downloads

It was at its E3 2015 conference that Bethesda Softworks shadowdropped Fallout Shelter on iOS. The game then arrived on Android in August 2015, followed by Xbox One and Windows 10 in February 2017. It then landed on PS4 and Switch in June 2018.

Initially intended as a mere loss leader in the run-up to the launch of Fallout 4, Fallout Shelter quickly became a veritable phenomenon. Ten years on, the title has exceeded 230 million installations across all media. A resounding success for what was originally a simple mobile game.

Fallout Shelter can be downloaded free of charge on all platforms.
