Marathon is still scheduled to release before April 2026

Despite the controversy and other marketing concerns, Bungie has yet to officially delay Marathon. The date of September 23, 2025 is, at the time of writing, still on the table.

In its recent presentation to investors, Sony published a sort of timetable for its live-service games. If we are to believe it, Marathon is expected in fiscal year 2025, ending March 31, 2026.

Bungie's title should only be delayed by a few weeks. For its part, Fairgame$ is scheduled for a more distant release.
