Nintendo will not release a new console before April 2024

Speculations never cease when it comes to discussing the next console from Nintendo, the gaming giant. The Switch, with its 125 million units sold, has nothing left to prove. However, the Japanese manufacturer doesn't seem willing to let go of its cash cow, which will likely remain in service for several more months.
Indeed, when unveiling the latest financial figures of the company, Nintendo's President Shuntaro Furukawa stated that no new console would be released before April 2024. Therefore, one should not expect to see a hypothetical Switch 2 for at least another year.
