In Japan, Gears of War: Reloaded will not be released on PS5

PlayStation gamers will have the opportunity to discover the Gears of War franchise for the first time with the remaster of the first game, due for release in August.

However, due to regional classification restrictions and platform policies, the PS5 version of Gears of War: Reloaded has been cancelled in Japan. In the country, it will only be available on Xbox Series and PC.

It is said that The Coalition's title failed to achieve its CERO rating due to “blood, gore and intense violence".
