Hitman is getting a cooperative mode

Just after Summer Game Fest, IO Interactive held its own showcase to talk about its new releases MindsEye, 007 First Light and Hitman.

It's the Agent 47 license we're interested in, as a cooperative mode called “Stone & Knight” has been announced. Two players will team up to complete missions as Stone and Knight. These two characters had already appeared in the co-op mode of Hitman Sniper.

With this addition, IO wants to "challenge you to rethink your approach now that you'll be playing as a duo". The Danish studio added that it "is still early days, but we look forward to coming back with more information on Hitman co-op".
