A MediEvil animated film almost saw the light of day
, by Thibaut
In this veritable wave of game adaptations into films or series, some projects have inevitably been abandoned along the way. Such is the case with a license that made its debut on the first PlayStation.
On X, Ben Mekler, a screenwriter and producer with over 15 years' experience in the audiovisual industry, declared that MediEvil had almost been adapted into an animated film. Jack Black's band Tenacious D was even to be involved in the feature. Original music would then have been composed for the project.
The latest MediEvil game is a remake of the first entry that released for the PS4 in 2019.
