The Arrow Lake-S Refresh is mentioned in Intel W880 motherboard manual

A leaked W880 motherboard manual, relayed by @momomo_us, reveals a reference to a Refresh version of Intel's Arrow Lake-S processors. This board model, designed for workstations, is compatible with desktop processors on socket LGA-1851, confirming that an update to the range is planned.

According to rumors, this update would only concern the K and KF models, and would be limited to a slight increase in frequency. It would not be a new generation as such, like the Core Ultra 300 series.

No interface changes are visible on the motherboard schematics between the classic and Refresh versions. Some projects, such as a 40-core model or an enhanced NPU, have reportedly been abandoned.

Arrow Lake Refresh could be the last evolution for socket LGA-1851, before the arrival of Nova Lake-S, which will use a new socket.
