The Lies of P Overture DLC omes with a Boss Rush mode and new difficulty levels

The developers of Lies of P have confirmed that the next update, which will introduce the Overture DLC, will add two new difficulty levels as well as a Boss Rush mode.

According to TechRadar, the difficulty options will be : Butterfly's Guidance (more accessible), Awakened Puppet (more difficult), and Legendary Stalker, corresponding to the original difficulty. Quite the unusual addition for a souls-like game, but one that aims to make the game more accessible before the release of DLC and the sequel.

The patch will also add a new game mode: Battle Memories, a Boss Rush mode allowing players to take on bosses from the main game and the expansion. Another mode, Death March, will allow players to chain together three bosses with limited resources.

These new features will be available free of charge. The Overture DLC, with no release date as yet, will serve as a prequel to the main game, and will be accessible via Chapter 9. It will include cut content from the original game.
