Samsung is ready to supply components for 20 million of Switch 2 units by March 2026

According to Bloomberg, Samsung is currently working on a custom chip designed by Nvidia for the Switch 2, using its 8 nm etching process. Production would be fast enough to enable Nintendo to ship over 20 million consoles by March 2026.
Samsung, Nintendo's long-standing supplier (notably of NAND flash memory and OLED displays), is also said to be pushing for the adoption of OLED panels in a possible revision of the Switch 2. However, assembly will depend in part on the capabilities of partners such as Foxconn.
