The RTX 5090D, a model reserved for the Chinese market, could see its specifications reduced

According to the latest rumors, NVIDIA may be lowering the specifications of the RTX 5090D due to new export restrictions imposed by the US government. The China-only model could be limited to 14,080 CUDA cores, down from 21,760, and its memory bandwidth would be reduced to 1.3 TB/s.

According to a moderator on the Baidu forums, the new RTX 5090D model will be launched shortly, although no price has yet been announced. Memory capacity will be increased to 24 GB GDDR7 on a 384-bit bus, compared with 32 GB for the initial RTX 5090 model. The graphics card's performance could thus be considerably reduced, both in games and in professional applications.
