Mafia: The Old Country won't be open-world

With Mafia: The Old Country, Hangar 13 makes a real shift in the history of a much-beloved franchise. Indeed, the studio has chosen to let go a mechanic in the creation of this new entry.

Unlike Mafia III, released in October 2016, Mafia: The Old Country will not feature an open world. Instead, it will be a more traditional linear, narrative game. This is not necessarily bad news, as the campaign will be more polished and condensed. Of course, we can also assume that the game will be a little shorter than its predecessor.

Mafia: The Old Country will be released on August 8 for €49.99.
