For the first time in its history, Nintendo surpasses $100 billion in stock market value

The Switch generation has been more than beneficial for Nintendo. After all, the console has surpassed 150 million units sold in eight years, making it the third best-selling machine of all time.

Nintendo has also reached a new financial milestone. According to CompaniesMarketCap, the manufacturer currently has a market value of $100.16 billion, which makes it the seventh-largest Japanese company by market capitalization. The podium is occupied by Toyota ($252.16 billion), Sony ($156.31 billion) and Mitsubishi ($142.22 billion).

This is also the first time Nintendo has passed the $100 billion mark on the stock market. Since the presentation of the Switch 2 in early April, the company's share price has risen by 34.33%.
