After The Last of Us, the Twisted Metal franchise will be adapted into a series this year. In the United States, it will be aired on the Peacock platform starting on July 27th, 2023. A total of 10 episodes will be included in this first season.
The site IGN has also published a poster (see below) for this famous series. In the cast, we will find Anthony Mackie (Captain America: The Winter Soldier, The Hurt Locker, Black Mirror) in the lead role. Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick (Deadpool, Zombieland) are directing. Michael Jonathan Smith (Cobra Kai) is in charge of the writing.
The series will tell the story of "a foul-mouthed outcast who is given the chance to live a better life, but only if he can deliver a mysterious package in a post-apocalyptic desert".
