Xbox cloud gaming is now available on compatible LG TVs
, by Quentin
Microsoft has announced that Xbox Cloud Gaming is finally available on selected LG TV models. These include 2022 OLEDs, a selection of 2023 models, and TVs and monitors running webOS 24 or later.
Users can play Xbox games via the Xbox app without owning a console, provided they have a Game Pass Ultimate subscription and a Bluetooth controller. Xbox controllers are compatible, as is the PS5's DualSense.
This new feature is part of the “This is an Xbox” campaign, which aims to highlight alternative media for accessing the ecosystem. You can check out the list of compatible TVs on the Xbox support site.
