The Nintendo Switch 2 Edition game cards will work on the first Switch

Marvelous Games revealed quite a new interesting detail hidden by Nintendo. It concerns the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition games such as Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Kirby and the Forgotten World.
These Switch titles re-released on Switch 2 will be sold physically on a 64 GB card containing the base game and its upgrade for the new console. Marvelous has revealed that this is also the case for Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma.
"There’s no need to download the full game: simply insert the card into either a Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch 2 console, and the correct version will launch automatically."
So Switch players who would like to get the Switch 2 later can get the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition games and enjoy them on their current console.
