Bungie currently has no plans for a Switch 2 version of Marathon

Over the past few days, Marathon has been at the heart of discussions in the small world of the video game industry. Bungie's PvP game is due for release on PS5, Xbox Series and PC on September 23.

In an interview with Famitsu, Joseph Ziegler, the game's director, was asked about a possible Switch 2 version, but it's unlikely to happen just yet.

"For the time being, we have no plans to add new platforms, but we will consider it in the future."

So, Marathon may well come one day to Nintendo's next-gen console... But it won't be in September.
