Xbox division achieves satisfactory results for its third fiscal quarter

Microsoft has provided an update on its revenues for the third fiscal quarter that ended on March 31, 2023. This was an opportunity to learn that overall, Xbox division decreased by 4% year-over-year. However, there are significant disparities within the same division.
For example, revenues from Xbox content and services increased by 3% compared to the same period last year. This category was boosted by the excellent performance of the Game Pass. In contrast, the console sector saw its results heavily decline by around 30%. This phenomenon can be explained by persistent supply chain difficulties in certain territories.
Nevertheless, with its $3.59 billion generated, Xbox achieved its second-best third fiscal quarter in its history.
