Contraband, Avalanche Studios' co-op game in collaboration with Xbox, is still alive and kicking

Back in June 2021, Xbox announced a partnership with Avalanche Studios (Just Cause) to create a new license. Contraband was a cooperative smuggling game set in the fictional world of Bayan in the 1970s.

Almost four years later, Avalanche Studios' title still has to come out and hasn't even shown up at all. However, on its LinkedIn account, the Swedish studio has posted a job offer to work on Contraband. So it seems this one's still on the cards, and could be back in the news soon enough.
